During the Age of the Eternal Night, Agarash the Damned created seven Doomstones in mockery of the Lorestones. These seven black crystals fashioned from jet embodied the essence of Agarash’s power. They disappeared after the destruction of Agarash and Naaros, but the Darklords searched for them in an attempt to break the civil war following Archlord Vashna’s destruction. The Darklord Zagarna found the seven Doomstones encapsulated in the body of a dying man, and bore them home to the Darklands. The Doomstones were eventually scattered once more. Several have been destroyed, ensuring that Agarash’s foul power can never be complete again, but Doomstones have resurfaced to ensnare and empower the minions of Darkness.
